Russian Government extended until the end of 2023, a decree temporarily prohibits the export from the country of certain types of timber, waste and scrap steel, tungsten, cermets, as well as a number of goods and equipment. Their export is prohibited to all countries, except for the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union.
The restriction applies to more than 1.6 thousand goods, including technological and medical equipment, agricultural machinery, electrical equipment, turbines, and nuclear reactors. In addition, it is forbidden to export certain types of aircraft, radar devices, batteries and metalworking machines from Russia.
In response to Western sanctions, Russia on October 26, President Vladimir Putin extended the effect of a decree providing a ban on the export and import of products and raw materials to Russia according to the lists determined by the government until the beginning of 2024.
Corresponding government title list determined 10th of March. The ban was extended to include cars, passenger and cargo ships and yachts, aircraft and drones.
