The Russian authorities have extended the program of state guarantees of free medical care to residents of the country until 2025. This was announced today, on January 9, at a meeting with deputy prime ministers by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
According to him, the program also provides for the provision of high-tech and specialized assistance. Thus, the number of services available to Russians is increasing.
The possibilities of medical rehabilitation are also expanding. Mishustin stressed that free medical care should be available in all cities, towns and villages of our country. And the quality of its provision should be determined by a single approach and not depend on the place of residence of the patient. The head of the Cabinet assured that all the funds necessary for this are provided.
In October last year, it was reported that the regions would receive an additional 59 billion rubles for the salaries of medical workers.
