The government has introduced an innovation in the Rules of the Road (SDA) – now the paid parking zones will be marked with blue lines, and free – white. Changes also touched and rules governing the riding of scooters and hoverboards.
The new look will also appear at the signs of paid parking and parking for the disabled, according to site government. In the first case, an image of coins will be added to the letter P, and in the second, an image of a wheelchair user will appear next to this letter. As an experiment, signs in this form have appeared since 2017 in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Saratov, Vladimir, Krasnodar and Voronezh.
The government also approved two new road signs. One of them will indicate charging for electric vehicles, and the second will inform about the ban on buses.
In addition, scooters are recognized as a means of individual mobility. The speed of electric scooters will be limited to 25 km/h. Riding on sidewalks and cycle paths is now allowed only if the weight of the device does not exceed 35 kg.
