The Government approved the rules for the registration of animals, as well as the list of animal species subject to labeling, including the timing of the registration. The Decree comes into force on March 1, 2024 and is valid until March 1, 2030. Document dated April 5 published on the legal information portal today, 7 April.
“The unique number is valid throughout the life of the animal, re-registration of an individually marked animal is not allowed,” in particular, the accounting rules say.
Individual or group marking and accounting are subject to: cattle; horses, donkeys, mules and hinnies; camels; bees; pigs; sheep and goats; Domestic bird; deer; fur animals; rabbits; fish and other aquaculture objects of animal origin; service animals.
