A form for signing up to volunteer for a special military operation has appeared on the Public Services website. The form emphasizes that citizens who have not received a summons as part of partial mobilization, but who wish to go to Ukraine, have the opportunity to come to the military commissariat voluntarily.

You can make an appointment at the military registration and enlistment office on the State Services portal. To be called up for mobilization, a Russian liable for military service must meet several key requirements. Firstly, he must be of age: ordinary and junior officers – up to 50 years old, junior officers – up to 60 years old, senior officers – up to 65 years old.

Secondly, he must be in the reserve of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and have a military registration specialty. Thirdly, he must be fit for service in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation for health reasons, referring to categories “A”, “B” or “C”.

To enter a volunteer detachment, a citizen of the Russian Federation must be under 60 years of age, and also have experience in serving in the RF Armed Forces, law enforcement agencies or participation in military training, or engage in shooting clubs, be a member of a hunter society or a Cossack squad.
