The border crossing on Upper Lars is empty

The Upper Lars checkpoint on the Russian-Georgian border was empty. As you can see on the webcam footage, there is no traffic jam on the highway leading to the border, and there are no cars at the checkpoint itself. Public utilities also reportedly cleared the side of the road, where queuing citizens dumped garbage. 15 tons of garbage were taken out from there.

Earlier, the head of North Ossetia, Sergei Menyailo, introduced a high alert regime in the republic on September 28, within which the entry of vehicles was limited, except for cars of residents of the region, citizens of Georgia, as well as those who went to Ossetia on vacation.

In addition, at the Verkhniy Lars checkpoint, citizens who were subject to mobilization began to receive subpoenas.
