In the city of Naryan-Mar, athletes of the Russian Guard won the Gold Cup of the Dynamo regional mini-football competition in honor of Defender of the Fatherland Day. The final match between the team “Guard” and the team of military units “SKA” took place on the site of the “Leader” children’s and youth center and ended with a score of 6:2 in favor of the Russian Guard, reports the press service of the Office of the Russian Guard for the Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
In a solemn ceremony, the chairman of the Nenets regional public organization of the Dynamo Society, police colonel Maxim Kuznetsov, presented the Cup and gold medals to the “Guard” football players, and junior sergeant Alexander Kolbintsev, a serviceman of the Office of the Russian Guard for the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, a special award for winning the “Best Forward” category.
“The game turned out to be emotional. Young athletes were able to show their best qualities. The team as a whole showed high coherence and motivation to achieve such a necessary victory at the first stage of the annual Dynamo Spartakiad in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug. There are still competitions ahead in swimming, volleyball, table tennis, ski relay, shooting and other disciplines. I hope for the unity of our sports team and the achievement of high results in all types of sports and service training,” said captain Alexander Kiselyov, captain of the team of the National Guard Administration for the NJSC “Gvardiya”.
