The governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, announced the death of a girl and the injury of her family members in the village of Shagarovka during an attack by aircraft-type drones from Ukraine.
According to Gladkov, the air defense system shot down 4 UAVs. However, shrapnel hit a car in which a family of six was inside.
As a result, on the spot before the arrival of the ambulance team, the girl died from her injuries, the father of the family received an open head wound and a collarbone injury, and assistance was also provided to his wife and an 18-year-old boy who was diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury.
“Two children with closed craniocerebral injuries and concussions were taken by ambulance to the regional children’s hospital,” Gladkov also wrote, adding that the children were in a condition of moderate severity.
