The German political party Alternative for Germany yesterday called for the resignation of the country’s government and early elections.

It is clarified that party representatives came to this decision based on the results of a survey, according to which two-thirds of the country’s residents believe that Chancellor Olaf Scholz cannot cope with the crisis that has arisen in Germany.

The survey was conducted by the Forsa public opinion institute for the N-tv channel. It revealed that 66% of respondents believe that Scholz cannot cope with the crisis in Germany. 24% of respondents trust Scholz and consider him competent to resolve this issue. Among other things, 69% of the country’s residents are confident that the authorities are not coping with the budget crisis.

“According to the survey data, the current situation can only have one consequence: resignation and early elections,” AfD representatives emphasized.
