The general director of Chelyabinsk International Airport, Vitaly Kashin, was removed from his post after he committed an incident on board an airplane. This was reported to Novaport Holding LLC, which includes Chelyabinsk Airport.
Earlier it became known that on January 6, Kashin, while drunk, swore and insulted crew members at the aircraft port. He was detained in St. Petersburg Pulkovo and issued an administrative report.
The company indicated that this incident “indicates a dishonest attitude towards its responsibilities.”
“For unacceptable behavior and non-compliance with the standards and values of Novaport Holding LLC, the general director of Chelyabinsk Airport was removed from his position,” the company said. They emphasized that they extend the principles of their work to all employees.
