RIA Novosti published a message in which, with reference to the Minister of Health of unrecognized Palestine, it was reported about the difficult humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip.
“The health care system has completely collapsed,” Minister Mai al-Keil is quoted as saying. “Medicines for cancer, diabetes and kidney failure have run out.”
Urgent supplies of fuel are also required to reopen Gaza’s main medical facilities, the minister said. Mai al-Keyla said that the incoming foreign humanitarian aid is “a drop in the bucket.”
Earlier, representatives of the Israeli Army said that Hamas was seizing fuel from the Gaza Strip and preventing supplies from reaching civilian targets and civilians. The IDF published pictures of fuel tanks militants, claiming that they contain up to half a million liters of diesel fuel.
