The director of the Federal Security Service (FSB), Alexander Bortnikov, said that the Russian special services know the organizers of terrorist attacks in Russia. The head of the FSB noted that his agency sees problems that have arisen due to the hostilities in Ukraine. According to him, FSB officers are now “carrying out a large layer of work.”
“There are those who left and organized combat units, there are those who intended to do this. In any case, all law enforcement agencies and intelligence services in the country are actively engaged in this. At the same time, as our president said, we know by name who is the organizer of the preparation and organization of actions on our territory,” said Alexander Bortnikov in interview Pavel Zarubin, when a journalist asked him to comment on the president’s words at the FSB board about the need to identify by name “traitors and Vlasovites.”
As the Investigative Committee of Russia reported, during interrogation those arrested in connection with the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall statedthat their actions were coordinated through Telegram by an unknown person under a pseudonym, and after the attack he directed them towards the Ukrainian border so that they would receive the promised reward in Kyiv. At the moment, nine people have been arrested in connection with the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall, including four alleged perpetrators.
