The FSB detained a Russian who tried to commit a terrorist attack in the Chelyabinsk region on instructions from the SBU
Employees of the Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia detained a Russian who was involved in an attempted sabotage at a facility of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation in the Chelyabinsk region. This was reported by the FSB Public Relations Center.
They clarified that the man was recruited by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) using social networks, and on their instructions was to commit sabotage in January 2024.
The FSB noted that as a result of the inspection, it was possible to find out that he was also involved in arson at communication facilities and railway infrastructure in the Republic of Dagestan in November and December last year.
During the detention of the criminal, security officers confiscated his means of communication with electronic media, which contained photo reports and correspondence with curators from Ukraine.
