FSB officers detained a resident of the Vladimir region who, for money, collected information about the movement of trains with military equipment and passed it on to the Ukrainian special services. This was reported by the FSB press service, writes “RIA News”.
The footage distributed by the department shows a receipt dated May 4, which states that the detainee received 10,000 rubles. from the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) “to prepare for the task.” The receipt also indicates the pseudonym under which he worked – “Maloy”.
During interrogation, the man admitted the fact of cooperation with the Ukrainian intelligence services for money.
The detainee turned out to be a Russian citizen who lived in the city of Gus-Khrustalny. A criminal case has been opened against him for cooperation on a confidential basis with a foreign state to assist in activities directed against the security of Russia (Article 275.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The maximum penalty under this article provides for imprisonment for a term of up to eight years.
Previously FSB reported about the detention of a 57-year-old resident of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk in a similar case regarding cooperation with Ukraine. The detainee has been arrested. According to the department, he deliberately contacted a representative of the Ukrainian special services in order to help Kyiv in activities directed against the security of the Russian Federation.
