The FSB announced the detention of a resident of the Krasnoyarsk Territory in a case of treason

Employees of the Russian FSB Directorate for the Krasnoyarsk Territory detained a local resident on suspicion of treason and espionage for the Security Service of Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the department, writes “RIA News”.
The man admitted that a little more than six months ago representatives of the SBU contacted him and offered him cooperation. At the same time, according to the FSB, the detainee himself entered into correspondence with SBU officers and, for a fee, provided them with coordinates and photographs of military units and critical Russian energy infrastructure facilities located in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. In particular, he took photographs of the Krasnoyarsk hydroelectric power station and the part located nearby.
A criminal case has been initiated against the detainee under Art. 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (treason), according to which the maximum punishment provides for imprisonment for up to 20 years or for life. The man has been arrested.
November 8, Russian FSB officers detained a resident of the Nizhny Novgorod region who planned to go to a special operation zone in Ukraine to participate in hostilities against the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. A criminal case of treason has also been opened against him.
