The FSB announced the detention of a resident of Sevastopol in a case of treason

FSB officers detained a resident of Sevastopol on charges of treason. This was reported by the FSB press service, write “RIA News”.
According to the FSB, in March 2023, he was engaged in equipping defensive structures in Crimea and passed information about these facilities to a representative of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
A criminal case of treason has been opened against the detainee (Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The maximum penalty under this article is life imprisonment. He is currently under arrest.
October 19, FSB officers in the treason case detained a resident of Vladivostok, who transmitted data about Russian military installations in the region to Ukrainian intelligence. It is clarified that the detainee independently established contacts with representatives of the Ukrainian special services and offered them his services. On the instructions of his curators, he collected information about the objects of the military-industrial complex (MIC) of the Primorsky Territory and transferred them to the Ukrainian side. At the same time, the FSB emphasized, he realized that this data could be used against Russia’s national security.
