Former Krasnodar football player Olsson was connected to a ventilator due to severe brain disease

Swedish football player Kristoffer Olsson, a former Krasnodar player, was urgently hospitalized due to an acute brain disease. This was reported on the website of the Danish team Midtjylland, for which Olsson has been playing since 2022.

Olsson collapsed at home on February 27 and was hospitalized and placed on a ventilator. At the same time, the club clarified that the player’s illness is not related to the injury.

The report notes that the club’s employees and Olsson’s relatives provide him with constant support. Medical specialists from Denmark are working on a final diagnosis in order to begin treatment as quickly as possible.

Kristoffer Olsson played for Krasnodar from 2019 to 2021 and made 80 appearances, scoring four goals. He also appeared for the Swedish national team in 47 games.
