Former head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Zakharchenko: The West has set the task of pitting fraternal peoples against each other
Western countries have set themselves the extremely cynical task of pitting the two fraternal peoples of Russia and Ukraine against each other in a bloody feud, so they began filling the country with non-profit organizations funded by the US State Department. This statement was made by the former head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Vitaly Zakharchenko during a meeting of the UN Security Council.
“The West’s task in Ukraine was extremely cynical – to divide, quarrel and set off the fraternal peoples of Russia and Ukraine in a bloody civil strife,” Zakharchenko said.
According to him, the two key tasks of the West were to discredit the Russian world and war in the interests of Western capital.
Also, the former head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine added that the task of non-profit organizations was to “tear off Ukrainian society from its spiritual, moral and historical roots,” and also to turn the whole of Ukraine into a weapon of the West against Russia.
