2023 was not the best year in the history of Ivanovo Tekstilshchik. Over the past 365 days, the team from Ivanovo has not often pleased its fans with victories and successful matches. Under the leadership of Igor Kolyvanov, the Ivanovo Tekstilshchik was unable to fulfill two tasks set by the management. In the spring, Tekstilshchik was left without access to the First League, and in the fall it was unable to formalize the transition to the Golden division, being content only with maintaining a place in the Silver.
The 2023-2024 season became a transitional season in the Second League, which Tekstilshchik also felt. The club from Ivanovo ended up in the Silver division, where everything was organized much better than in the previous season. Television broadcasts also reached a new level, which were now organized not by the club itself, as before, but by the Vsporte company.
Former general director of Tekstilshchik Igor Ershov spoke about broadcasts in the Second League.
“In zone “B”, the clubs organize broadcasts themselves. Last season they did it at their own expense: a show on four cameras cost around 40 thousand per match using a local crew. Now in zone “A” Vsporte does the broadcast for us. This is almost the only the relief we received from the league,” said Igor.
