The former deputy of the Shilka city council said that the head of the district offered him to kill the mayor

The former deputy of the city council of Shilka, Veniamin Chendemerov, wrote a statement to the police and the prosecutor’s office, in which he allegedly said the head of the district, Sergei Vorobyov, offered to kill the mayor of the city, Sergei Sivolap.

The publication notes that information about the statements filed by Chendemerov was confirmed by the press services of the regional prosecutor’s office and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to Chendemerov, the head of the Shilkinsky district, Sergei Vorobyov, allegedly offered him to “remove” the head of the city of Shilka, Sergei Sivolap.

“This happened in 2020, when we were still on good terms,” the publication quotes the former deputy.

Chendemerov also gave details: “Sitting at the table, Vorobyov suggested that I do it myself or find performers, since Sivolap “has no rest for him.”

But he, in his words, “refused and asked … not to make … such proposals anymore.”

The story, however, continued. “In the same year, Vorobyov came to work for me and again began to offer the murder of the head of Shilka,” said Chendemerov.

He also claims that he was asked to “put the phones in the refrigerator” during this conversation.

“I refused him again,” says the former deputy. “After that, we stopped our communication.”

The publication notes that Yevgeny Sinelnikov, senior assistant to the prosecutor of the Trans-Baikal Territory for interaction with the media and the public, confirmed that the application was indeed received on January 23. However, consideration of reports of such crimes falls within the competence of the police and the UK, so the application was sent to these departments.

The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Trans-Baikal Territory “MK in Chita” explained that police officers are checking the information contained in the appeal.

At the same time, the head of the Shilkovsky district, Sergei Vorobyov, denies the accusations.

“These are all human fantasies,” he told the publication.

According to Vorobyov, he has already testified to the investigator on this matter.

Various methods are being used against me, including vile ones, to get rid of me as the head of the district, ”Vorobiev explained.

In his opinion, Chendemerov “probably hoped to use comradely relations” with him “to resolve his issues related to some kind of his own benefit.” At the same time, the head of the Shilkinsky district emphasized: “in this regard, you cannot cook porridge with me.”

Vorobyov also noted that he was not at all surprised.

“We discussed this situation with Sergei Sivolap, who called it nonsense,” he also said.

As noted by the publication, on January 13 it became known that the head of the administration of Shilka Sivolap filed an appeal against the court verdict in a criminal case on abuse of power and the conclusion of a fictitious contract with ZabTEK JSC for the supply of boilers to hide unused budget money.

As informs website chitamedia.su, Sivolap was convicted of fictitious purchase of boilers under the “Emergency Situation” regime, which had already been purchased and installed earlier at the expense of ZabTEK.

The verdict has not entered into force.
