A small traffic jam on the Crimean bridge, formed from the side of the peninsula, is associated with an increase in the number of cars and technical problems at one of the inspection posts, Kommersant was told in the Crimean Council of Ministers.
“At the moment, nothing critical – the flow is stable, the average waiting time does not exceed 10-15 minutes. There has been an increase in the number of cars leaving for the mainland,” the officials said.
According to them, a small traffic jam formed today, July 7, due to minor technical problems at one of the inspection posts. In case of a possible worsening of the situation, the authorities of the region announced their readiness to organize an ambulance duty and attract volunteers.
In early July, at the entrance to the Crimean bridge formed queues up to 13 km. At checkpoints, the number of employees was increased and the work of inspection lines was strengthened, but this did not help to quickly solve the problem.
