Zakharova: Russia will not take part in the conference on Ukraine in Switzerland
Russia is not going to take part in a conference on the Ukrainian conflict in Switzerland, even if Moscow receives an invitation. This statement was made by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.
“Russia does not intend to take part in such a conference, even if it is officially invited,” the Russian diplomat said.
According to her, the upcoming conference on Ukraine in Switzerland is a continuation of those meetings held in Copenhagen, which discredited themselves and reached a dead end.
In addition, Zakharova assures that Bern cannot be a platform for a possible settlement of the Ukrainian conflict, since the country has already lost its neutral status, which is necessary to resolve such issues.
