The only underground temple in the zone of Russia’s military operation in Ukraine was opened in the rear area of the Western Group of Forces last week. The TV channel reported “Star”.
The temple does not have a name yet. Its design and construction took just over two months. As the TV channel writes, the participants in the special operation set themselves the task of “achieving maximum resemblance to civilian parishes,” and not of setting up a safe dugout with icons.
As military priest Father Dmitry told the TV channel, participants in the special operation enter the temple from the front line and return from there to the contact line. “Perhaps, with God’s help, one day a monastery will be founded here. There were such conversations while we were building this temple,” he said.
In August, at the military-technical forum “Army-2023” in Kubinka near Moscow, the Russian Orthodox Church (ROC) presented temple for military priests, equipped on the basis of the car “UAZ”.
What happens on the 561st day after the entry of Russian troops into Ukraine – in online broadcasts “b”.
