The first “TEFI”: the journalists of the television and radio company “Crimea” brought a prestigious trophy to the peninsula

– We went to the awards in complete ignorance: we will remain honorary nominees or return with the status of winners, – Elizaveta Bregeda, TV presenter of the PRObuy program, says with excitement. – And in the course of waiting, excitement grew, because until the end I did not understand what a cool story had happened to me. True, just in case, before the award, she asked me to do a red manicure: red looks good with gold. And I was going to take the figurine.

9 kg of happiness

The fact that the project “PRObuy” “Rock Climbing” reached the final of the “TEFI-Region” competition, Lisa learned from the editor-in-chief. She remembers saying “cool”. “Cool,” she said when she found out that she needed to go to St. Petersburg. The reason for such an even state is that there is no excessive expectation from the competition. Now this can be considered the key to success.

But the sobering came already at the ceremony. Crimean journalists were approached by colleagues from federal TV channels, the jury, and everyone expressed their delight: what a cool project they had created.

– When I received praise from the announcer of Channel One, the general producer of TNT, the puzzle was formed – I was at the country’s largest award, – Lisa laughs. And I started getting nervous. And then they call our program. I came out on shaky legs, I almost fell, the presenter Timur Solovyov was ready to pick me up, jokingly remarking, “don’t forget, we have a climbing program.” The bronze statuette “Orpheus” was presented by Denis Kazansky, sports commentator of Channel One. And the next surprise was the weight of the award. It seemed to me that TEFI weighs a ton, but no, only 8.5 kg! I experienced such a range of emotions while walking to the stage and giving out my speech, which, by the way, I did not prepare. I love to improvise. This is what my program is based on.

Elizabeth expressed special gratitude to her team, which she calls the most extreme and fearless. What are the shots of cameramen Danil Zakharov and Zhenya Garbuzov, which they do, climbing the rocks.

The winning show “Rock Climbing” was filmed at two locations. First, the TV presenter had to master the training track near Bakhchisaray. Looking at a rock of 15 meters, Lisa snorted: what a childish height, she will be ridiculed for such an extreme. “And you try to climb up,” the instructor slyly suggested.

Elizabeth shrugged her shoulders: the operator was able and she would master the height. True, Zhenya at least sometimes visited climbing walls in entertainment centers, but she had no experience. Also, the shoes are inappropriate. In general, the girl remembered that climb to the “childish” height. And I prepared a little for the second rock, which sparkled with a height of 100 meters. Somewhere in the middle of the way, through tears and lamentations “I can’t take it anymore”, the journalist admitted that climbers are tenacious, selfless people. And she was very proud that she mastered her height. The main thing was not to look down.

Tears, sincere feelings, genuine delight – the highlight of the TV show. This is a project about how an ordinary girl tries various extreme sports on herself, without being embarrassed by her emotions. Apparently, this hooked the TEFI jury.

Cinderella story

When choosing a competition program, Bregeda chose between three: rock climbing, rope jumping and quad bikes. But the general consensus was that rock climbing was more suitable.

And they didn’t fail. Crimean projects more than once got into the final of the competition, but only PRObuy brought TEFI to the republic.

– As the jury at the awards told us, there were not enough good programs about sports. And if other nominees raised questions, then our program was adopted unanimously, – says Lisa.

The program was invented by the producers of the First Crimean TV channel. In particular, Valerian Ozeryan, editor-in-chief of the department of national and sports programs, worked on its creation. Elizabeth was immediately offered as the host.

The girl already worked as the host of the program “Morning of a New Day”, filmed videos for social networks. I liked it for its emotionality and love for improvisation. Moreover, with sports she is on “you”: Lisa was engaged in crossfit, now she has become interested in tennis.

The first filming started in July 2021, the second season began filming at the end of the same year. The third season came in August 2022.

It is difficult to remember one or two funny cases on the set. They say that not a single program is complete without adventures.

– We went to Ai-Petri to pass the extreme route “Heavenly Path”, – Elizabeth shares her memories. – I walked absolutely calmly, at that moment I was no longer afraid of heights – a jump from a cliff helped. But you won’t envy my cameraman: he had to walk backwards, filming me on camera. And as you remember, there are no railings and a thousand meters above the ground. My operators are heroes. They, to be honest, are more in danger, in every possible way protecting me, one girl in the team.

And during the filming of speleology, bad weather made its own adjustments. The group arrived at the cave while Lisa was recording stand-up upstairs, the second operator was making beautiful shots in the cave. And then a downpour began: the TV presenter was soaked to the skin, and the operator was at a depth of 80 meters underground. According to Lisa, the water did not confuse her professionals, and the shots were luxurious. No worse than the movie “Sanctum”.

For 3 seasons, 30 episodes were filmed. What the fearless girl did not experience: skydiving, shooting, paragliding, rope jumping, windsurfing, hockey, skating looked quite extreme. Good ratings inspire the filming of the new season. If only there was enough extreme, and Lisa is ready for anything.

“I have all my favorite series,” says the TV presenter. – We conjure over each with operators, editors. As an author, it is important for me that the picture is perfect. I am very picky about myself and do not like to watch myself on TV, but I do it to work on my mistakes. And only when at home alone. I’m shy.

By the way, to her most important viewer – her mother – Lisa announces the programs, already when they came out.

– I will never tell my mother that I will skydive. I’ll tell you when I already jumped and the program was edited, – the journalist laughs. – And I’m standing in front of her alive, healthy.

But extreme sports are not without injuries. In the program where Lisa mastered mountain biking, she accelerated strongly and fell. Ran her shoulder on the ground, received a wound. Sits on the ground and emotionally tells what it’s like. Yes, it hurts, but what epic shots came out. The extreme girl does not worry about herself, the main thing is a cool picture.

– Feeling sorry for yourself on the set of an extreme project is wrong. If you’re afraid of falling off your bike, then don’t get on. And if you take on a project, give yourself entirely to it, – says Elizabeth.

What can an adventurer who has tried all extreme sports dream of? Jump with a parachute without an instructor, jump with a rope from the highest cliff in the Crimea Shaan-Kaya and from the bridge in Sochi.

When asked if the feeling of fear is dulled after the first jump, Lisa thinks:

– In rope jumping, every jump is like the first time. And the second time is even worse. The thought triggers: what if the second time is not lucky? .. But I drive thoughts, what can happen if the parachute does not open? It is better to catch up with these emotions in the program, but not at the moment of accomplishment.

Before becoming a TV presenter, Lisa studied as a director. Although in my dreams she was an actress. In 2014, she went to conquer Moscow. I tried to enter all theatrical universities, somewhere I reached the third round. But she didn’t. She returned to the Crimea, participated in the organization of the film festival in Sevastopol, until she found out about the vacancy of an assistant director on television. It was June 2019.

“But a year later I got tired of it, because an assistant director on TV is not a director on a set or in a theater,” Elizaveta recalls. – I got bored of sitting at the computer all day. I tried to work in the news: not mine. Being emotional, it is difficult for me to work with dry facts. And salvation came to me in the form of a morning program, where I was first taken as a journalist, and six months later – as a presenter. I’m lucky because I’m not afraid to try new things. When the PRObuy project arose, I did not hesitate. Recently I was told that I have a Cinderella story: from an assistant director, I became the host of the program, which took TEFI. Yeah, that’s cool!

TEFI imposes great obligations. The head of the Crimea Sergey Aksyonov congratulated the winner. Now the main thing is not to stop developing and continue to work on yourself. The Krym TV and radio company makes high-quality, cool projects and is already ready to conquer the All-Russian television competition again next year.
