The All-Russian competition “Southern Stars” started for the first time in Kislovodsk. In total, more than 500 athletes from 6 to 18 years old participate. The competition will last until October 29. More than 500 athletes aged 6 to 18 years will take part in the competition. Synchronized swimmers from 16 regions came to the city.
“Kislovodsk regularly becomes the venue for competitions not only at the regional, but also at the all-Russian level. But this is the first time we have such an All-Russian competition in the entire Stavropol region. This is largely due to the constantly developing sports infrastructure of our city, which makes it possible to comfortably host events of this format. Participants came from all over the country. Awards will be awarded in six disciplines. Such competitions will be the start of synchronized swimming in the Stavropol Territory and will mark the opening of the regional Synchronized Swimming Federation in our region. We wish good luck to all participants,” said the head of Kislovodsk, Evgeny Moiseev.
Earlier it was reported that young dancers from Kislovodsk distinguished themselves in the international festival-competition “I am a star!”
