The first snowball competitions in the Far East will be held in the Amur region

College students in the Amur region are mastering Yukigassen and preparing for the first student snowball tournament in the Far East. As reported in regional ministry of sports, this is a dynamic sport that is only gaining popularity in Russia. Blagoveshchensk will become the first city in the Far Eastern Federal District to officially join the movement. Activists in the region have already received a grant from Rosmolodezh for the project “Student Community “Yukigassen Amur”, recruited a team of like-minded people, are conducting training and preparing for the “Snow Battle on the Amur”. Participants are trained at the Amur College of Construction and Housing and Public Utilities.
