The 2023-2024 season has become revolutionary for the volleyball players of the Ivanovo Tekstilshchik. The team from Ivanovo, which previously played at the amateur level, was able to become the bronze medalist of the First League and got the opportunity to try their hand at professional clubs. “Textilshchik” entered the Russian Championship among Major League “B” clubs and from the very first matches began to surprise its fans and rivals, settling in the first half of the standings. After 22 matches played, Tekstilshchik takes 3rd place.
The year 2024 will open for Major League B clubs with matches in several cities at once. If the central match of the tour takes place in Obninsk, where the local team will compete with Tekstilshchik in the fight for 2nd place, then the remaining teams will play in 3 more cities. Grozny, Voronezh and Maykop will host the first matches of 2024 with the participation of the remaining clubs of the Major League “B”. The matches will take place in parallel, from January 13 to 14.
Let us remind you that Tekstilshchik will begin 2024 with a confrontation with VC Obninsk. The start time for the match has not yet been announced.
