Kuryan women from the first team became the best among their competitors at the fencing tournament in Moscow. Vitalina Anashchenkova, Polina Kozaeva, Valeria Rassolova and Kristina Samsonova brought home gold. The battles in the semi-finals turned out to be difficult. The Moscow fencers resisted until the last seconds and were one step away from defeating the Kuryan women. They led with a score of 40:38. But Kristina Samsonova turned out to be stronger than Svetlana Tripapina and, with a margin of 4 points, got her team into the finals.

He turned out to be fast. The team from the Nightingale region confidently defeated their rivals from the second team located near Moscow. In the main match of the tournament, the Kursk region team won a convincing victory with a score of 45:29.
