Last weekend, a new ice rink was opened in the village of Sonkovo. The court is equipped with modern lighting, as well as devices for playing music. The government of the Tver region spoke about this on December 18.
The new skating rink will allow children to be more actively involved in sports, the authorities noted, since the court is located next to a secondary school.
The 2023-2024 hockey season has begun in the village. The first match took place on the new site.
A celebration with Santa Claus, games and a performance was also organized for all participants of the event.
