For the first time in Salekhard, an adaptive fitness section has been launched: people with disabilities will be able to restore their lost motor skills free of charge. This was announced on November 15 by the head of Salekhard Alexei Titovsky.
“It became possible thanks to the coach Nadezhda Potenikhina. In May, the girl underwent retraining and is now developing special complexes for those who urgently need it. Anyone over the age of 15 can join, and if they have a doctor’s certificate of admission to such classes. Visits are free. Phone for consultations: 3-20-34,” Titovsky said.
He noted that Elina Beysova, a resident of Salekhard, sets a good example – she has a problem with the sensitivity of her lower extremities. Two or three times a week, she, along with a trainer, works out on a treadmill and simulators, squats on the Swedish wall with a small load, and develops her feet. Each time the number of repetitions increases. The instructor keeps a health card and notes progress.
Recall that classes will be launched in Labytnangi smart fitness – businesswoman Daria Khozova won a million grant for these purposes.
