The first microfutsal championship of the Republic of Crimea ended in Simferopol at the Sports Arena 5:7. Microfutsal is a new sports direction that combines elements of football and mini-football. The differences from traditional football lie not only in the size of the field and goal, but also in the number of players. Each team has 3 athletes. Eight teams from different settlements of our peninsula took part in this tournament.
After the group stage, the best teams went to the semi-finals to continue fighting for the championship and a cash prize; other clubs were given the opportunity to compete for a consolation prize – the Silver Cup. The winner in the consolation tournament was MFK “Simferopol”, which beat Simferopol FC “Idman” in the final only in a penalty shootout.
In the fight for the first title of Crimea, Simferopol FC “Arena 5:7”, FC “Advir”, Bakhchisarai FC “Kyzyltash” and FC “Arsenal” from Urozhayny fought. In the final, FC “Kyzyltash” and “Arenas 5:7” clashed, where the experienced representatives of mini-football turned out to be stronger, tactically outplaying the team from the KFS Premier League. “Arena 5:7” became the first winner in the history of the microfutsal championships of the Republic of Crimea. FC “Kyzyltash” received silver medals. In the match for third place, the Urozhnets team turned out to be stronger.
Redvan Memeshev (FC “Kyzyltash”) became the top scorer of the championship, scoring 22 goals throughout the tournament, scoring in every game of his team. Denis Golaydo (FC Aluston) was recognized as the best coach. And the leader of the champions, Alexander Sginukhin, was chosen as the tournament player.
Deputy Minister of Sports Sherif Osmanov took part in the award ceremony. The teams received cups and medals, and the winner also received the main prize of the competition – 100,000 rubles.
