The first congress of the Russian movement of children and youth will open in Moscow

From December 18 to 20, Moscow will host the first congress of the Russian movement of children and youth, during which its name, activities, mission and values will be determined, TASS reports.
The congress will be attended by representatives of all 89 regions of the country, including the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions.
16 delegates from each region will arrive in the capital: 13 children, two teachers-mentors and a chairman. In total, about 1.5 thousand representatives will take part in the congress.
The venue for the congress is the Youth House, in December the capital’s “Manege” became the venue for it.
As part of the event, discussion platforms will be held on thematic tracks: “Patriotism and historical memory”, “Volunteering and volunteerism”, “Healthy lifestyle”, “Media and communications”, “Science and technology”, “Culture and art”.
The main issues of the formation, organization of activities and development of the youth movement will be discussed.
The All-Russian Movement of Children and Youth was created this year. Children from 6 years of age can become participants. The goals of the movement: promoting the implementation of state policy in the interests of children and youth, participation in education, vocational guidance, organizing leisure activities for children, creating opportunities for their comprehensive development and self-realization, preparing for a full life in society.
The traffic management bodies include: a supervisory board headed by the president of Russia; coordinating council, the board headed by the chairman of the movement, who was appointed deputy head of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation Grigory Gurov.
