“MK in Kostroma” not so long ago announced the opening of a new sports complex on Bulvarnaya Street. It seems to have been quite recently – but yesterday it already hosted the first children’s tournament “Sports Victories”.
According to the press service of the Kostroma mayor’s office, the event was a kind of review of the physical training of pupils of sports schools in Kostroma.
Representatives of five sports schools of Kostroma competed in the running relay race and tried out new gymnastic equipment and playgrounds for volleyball, basketball, long jump and streetball.
It is assumed that in the future the FEC on Bulvarnaya Street will become the main training base for the Center for the Development of Extracurricular Sports, which is being created at the sports school No. 2. At the same time, a visit to the sports complex will be available to everyone, including residents of nearby houses and neighborhoods.
