Finalist of the Ukrainian selection for Eurovision alyona alyona refused to publish posts about fundraising for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The finalist of the national Ukrainian selection for the Eurovision song contest said that she would not repost publications of funds for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. A fragment with a confession was posted by one of the Ukrainian telegram channels.
Hip-hop artist Alena Savranenko (alyona alyona) noted that when she posted such posts, fans turned away from her. The number of visits to her pages on social networks dropped to two thousand per day. At the same time, a maximum of two or three users were interested in the fees and followed the link, and it is not a fact that they made some kind of donation to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Singer stated that she is a creative person. And the task of social networks is to be a platform for self-expression. Therefore, she doesn’t see the point in every third post being about money for the Armed Forces of Ukraine or volunteers.
At the same time, Alena complained about trolling from two popular bloggers in Ukraine and asked her subscribers to judge them. But subscribers did not appreciate the hip-hip artist’s frankness. One of the most striking comments: “How to improve the statistics of a substar? Training camp for the Ukrainian Armed Forces – no, the victim of hate is spot on.”
The results of the selection for Eurovision were supposed to be announced the day before, but due to a failure in the Ukrainian State Services, they were postponed to February 4. The competition itself will take place in May 2024 in Malmo (Sweden).
