The festival of chess for the visually impaired ended in the Slavyansky district

The annual chess festival for the visually impaired was held in the Slavyansky district of the Krasnodar Territory.
Chess players from 14 municipalities of the region took part in the tournament. The competitions were held within the framework of the state program of the Krasnodar Territory “Accessible Environment”.
In men, the Anapa resident became the winner Semyon Baghdasaryantook second place Mikhail Bukarin (Seversky district), the third – Gennady Popov (Caucasus region).
Women showed the best results Valentina Rudyuk from the Timashevsky district, the second was Krasnodar Tatyana Kakaurovathird – Raisa Kovtun (Slavyansky district).
The winners and prize-winners received cash prizes, as well as diplomas and medals from the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports of the Krasnodar Territory.
From August 31 to September 6, a similar checkers festival for the visually impaired will also be held in the Slavyansky district. 27 people will compete in it.
