The Federation Council of Russia approved the denunciation of the agreement with Ukraine on cooperation in the use of the Sea of ​​Azov and the Kerch Strait.

The document says that after the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions became subjects of the Russian Federation, the Sea of ​​\u200b\u200bAzov became the inland sea of ​​the Russian Federation, and Ukraine received the status of a coastal country.

“Ukraine unilaterally withdrew from the treaty. Due to the fact that the treaty has lost its relevance, it is proposed to denounce it, ”the text of the document says.

It is worth noting that Kyiv withdrew from the relevant agreement in February of this year.
