Senator Dzhabarov called the return of Azov commanders a violation of agreements by Turkey
The return to Ukraine from Turkey of the commanders of the Azov battalion (the organization is a terrorist, extremist and banned on the territory of the Russian Federation) should be considered as a violation of previously concluded agreements. So he commented in a conversation with NEWS.ru Head of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs Vladimir Dzhabarov.
“This is a violation of all agreements. Nobody can be trusted. <...> It’s another matter if they don’t take part in hostilities,” Dzhabarov said.
In addition, he touched upon the issue of extending the grain deal, saying that the Russian Federation was not ready for its extension, since such a decision would be beneficial only to the West.
Earlier, the Office of the President of Ukraine reported that as a result of Volodymyr Zelensky’s visit to Istanbul, after negotiations with Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the commanders of the Azov nationalist battalion were returned.
This was also commented by the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov. He noted that such actions are a violation of the terms of the existing agreements. He stressed that the conditions were violated not only by the Ukrainian, but also by the Turkish side.
