The Federal Penitentiary Service (FSIN) increased the maximum prices for the purchase of gadgets for its department by 70 percent.
According to a document published on the resource of legal information, the Federal Penitentiary Service now has the right to buy tablets, computers and printers of a higher class. Thus, the department canceled the standards of 2019.
According to RBC, the price tag has risen most of all for “protected” personal computers – from a maximum of 160,000 rubles to 600. Information leakage through acoustic channels is excluded from such devices. The cost of buying a color printer for the director of the department has increased to 71 thousand rubles (from 2019 it was 30 thousand).
In addition, the head of the Federal Penitentiary Service, as well as his deputies and heads of structural divisions, can buy an ordinary computer at a price of not 75 thousand rubles, as before, but for 127 thousand. However, other employees of the department also have the right to a more expensive device than just recently: they are allowed to purchase a gadget for 85 thousand rubles (the limit was previously 48 thousand).
Previously, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia asked to cancel the maximum cost of purchasing gadgets.
