The Federal Penitentiary Service has decided to strengthen control over imprisoned pedophiles

The reason was the increased incidence of relapse
Inspectors of the Federal Penitentiary Service will have to strengthen control over released citizens previously convicted of sexual crimes. Investigators contacted the prison department with a request to capture similar characters.
As MK learned, the reason for filing the complaint was cases when rapists again commit a similar crime without being free for even a year. One such episode occurred recently in the Southern District. In Kolomenskoye Park, a 51-year-old Muscovite attacked and raped a schoolgirl. Two days later the man was detained. It turned out that he was released just 5 months before the crime, and before that the pedophile was sentenced to 15 years in prison for a series of rapes. The rapist was released early, but the criminal record was not expunged. In the capital, the man was registered with the inspection department of the Federal Penitentiary Service in Moscow. However, the criminal still attacked the girl.
In connection with this incident, it was proposed to bring disciplinary action against prison department inspectors who missed their charge. In addition, FSIN employees will have to regularly visit rapists released from the colony, conduct inspections of their homes at least once a month, and call them for preventive conversations with the same frequency.
