The list of mandatory equipment that all Russian drones must be equipped with was sent to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Transport and the Association of Drone Manufacturers Aeronext on April 19. Rosaviatsia proposed to fix these requirements in the federal aviation rules. Requirements for equipping an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) Rosaviatsia proposes to categorize depending on the conditions of its operation, follows from the document. For example, drones that fly within line of sight, i.e. at a height of up to 150 m, are proposed to be equipped with side lights, a control system that will allow the pilot on the ground to see the location of the device and, if necessary, urgently land or return it to the point of departure along the shortest direct, as well as software and hardware systems (HSS), which will not allow you to fly in restricted areas and areas with restrictions. We are talking about special software (software) and locators that will determine the location of the drone and, if necessary, change the trajectory of its flight, explained Nikita Danilov, CEO and founder of Fly Dron.
