With the warming in house No. 10 on Kostyakova Street (Timiryazevsky district, SAO), work on the overhaul of the facade will start.

The residential building was built in 1939 on an individual project and is a prime example Soviet architecture early 20th century. On the first floor of the house there is a cinema “Iskra”. The specialists of the Capital Repair Fund (FCR) will have to restore the decorative elements of the exterior decoration and paint the walls in historical color.

“It is very important to preserve the historical and cultural portrait of our city. House number 10 on the street Kostyakova — this is a legend that is familiar to all of us thanks to the Iskra cinema located here. This year we will put in order the facade of this house. We created a unique project for the work, which took into account all the nuances of the object, both constructive and aesthetic. Selected high-quality and exclusively domestic materials. Restoration of the facade of the building will be divided into several stages. First, the walls will be cleaned and washed from accumulated contaminants. Then the masters will clearing and flushing of planes. The resulting cracks will be sealed with a special building compound. If necessary, local repair of brickwork will be carried out, and wet spots will be treated with modern anti-gritbkovoy and strengthening agent.

“In order to restore the original beauty of stucco, experts will use moderne technologistsand: laser scanning for the most accurate estimate of loss volumes and advanced polymer blends for additional fragmentation of elements“, – noted Vladimir Kozhichenkov.

Walls will be painted in the residential building, plinth, external window and door slopes. The plans are to replace the ebbs and downpipes, repair the entrance groups.

Fasads houses No. 10 on Kostyakova Street have multi-component plastics and are decorated with decorative elements. The three lower floors are rusticated, the upper ones are decorated with pilasters and bas-reliefs, some of the window spaces are emphasized by architraves and keystones. On the main facade at the level of 3-5 floors there are decorative porticos. Between the fifth and sixth floors stretches a wide multi-profile cornice. Yard facades are made in a more laconic style with typical windows. The stained-glass windows of the stairwells, decorated with multi-level portals, attract attention. Along the perimeter of the house there is a massive crowning cornice with denticles.

The Moscow Capital Improvement Program is one of the largest housing modernization projects not only in Russia, but in the world. The program includes more than 28,500 houses with a total area of ​​more than 275 million square meters. m, in which it is planned to repair more than 355 thousand engineering systems and structural elements of buildings and replace more than 112 thousand elevators.

To clarify the timing and types of work under the overhaul program, so-called short-term implementation plans are drawn up. For 2021-2023, such a plan has already been approved. It included 4437 houses of the capital with a total area of ​​34.2 million square meters. In 2023, repairs will begin in 2.3 thousand houses.
