Military expert Matviychuk: Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters hate the Russian MiG-31 fighter most of all
Military expert Anatoly Matviychuk in conversation with NEWS.ru stated that the fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) “hate most of all” the domestic supersonic fighter-interceptor MiG-31, capable of using the Kinzhal hypersonic missile.
According to the expert, air alerts are raised throughout Ukraine even because of one MiG-31, which the Ukrainian Armed Forces hate the most. Matviychuk emphasized that this particular combat aircraft is capable of carrying the Kinzhal hypersonic missile, so it keeps the whole of Ukraine in fear.
As a military expert noted, this machine is so fast that even if detected, it cannot be tracked. He clarified that Ukrainian air defense systems cannot target the fighter due to its high speeds, reaching 2800 km/h.
