Political scientist Konkov: Ukraine’s debt to the West amounts to billions of dollars
Ukraine’s debt to Western countries for supporting Kyiv amounts to billions of dollars. Such a statement in a conversation with “Lentoy.ru” made by candidate of political sciences Alexander Konkov.
“We are talking about billions of dollars,” said an associate professor at the Department of Political Science at the Financial University.
He emphasized that all funds include not only military assistance, but also support for Ukrainian statehood, which indirectly falls into military spending and directly depends on Western supplies. According to him, now Kyiv does not have the opportunity to pay all this money.
In addition, Konkov noted that the European Union has committed itself to allocating 50 billion euros to Ukraine.
