The organizers of the exhibition-forum “Russia” at VDNKh reported that the number of its visitors reached 8 million people.
The exhibition opened on November 4, 2023; it was originally planned that it would run until April 12, but President Vladimir Putin instructed extend the exhibition’s opening hours until July 8, 2024. The exhibition is dedicated to the achievements of the Russian economy and regions of the Russian Federation and is popular: on weekends, queues form in front of a number of sites and pavilions.
The eight millionth visitor to the exhibition, 14-year-old Vadim Leizer from Tyumen, received tickets to the football match of the Russian national team, which will meet the Serbian national team in Moscow on March 21.
