The Moscow City Court accepted the appeal of the former director of the football academy “Chertanovo” Nikolai Larin. He was released from custody.
The court of first instance sentenced Larin to 3 years in prison on charges of fraud. The prosecutor asked to increase this period, and the defense suggested reclassifying the coach’s actions as an article on misappropriation of budget funds on an especially large scale.
The Moscow City Court sentenced Larin to 2 years and 6 months of imprisonment on probation and decided to release him from custody, reports matchtv.ru.
