Former coach of the Russian national team Vladimir Krikunov commented on the statement of an anonymous Finnish hockey player who said that foreign legionnaires play in Russian clubs only for the sake of money.
Krikunov called the athlete, who did not reveal his name, a “coward”. According to the coach, the Finn should be grateful that he is allowed to play in the Continental Hockey League (KHL).
“They come for money in the first place,” Krikunov quotes Sport24.
