The European Union stopped calling Russian businessmen oligarchs

The European Union authorities will no longer call Russian businessmen “oligarchs” when introducing individual sanctions.
As TASS reports, the EU Council has made changes to the data on 140 individuals and 41 legal entities in Russia who are on the blacklist.
According to the current version of the Official Journal of the EU, the term “oligarch” in descriptions of Russian citizens has now been replaced by the phrase “leading businessman”.
