Republika Srpska announced its readiness to pay for gas from Russia in rubles
The Republika Srpska of Bosnia and Herzegovina is ready to pay for Russian gas in rubles. This was stated by the head of its representative office in the Russian Federation Dusko Perovich.
“We are ready to pay in rubles. This is a technical issue,” Perovich said.
At the same time, the head of the representative office of the region specified that at the moment the Republika Srpska has little difficulty with payment due to the delay in transfers through correspondent banks.
Recall that in March 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed to transfer payments for gas into rubles for unfriendly countries. At the same time, the head of state stressed that Russia would continue to supply natural gas in accordance with the volumes and prices, according to the pricing principles fixed in the contracts concluded earlier.
