UEFA and FIFA violated competition law regarding the Super League
The European Court has declared illegal the actions of the UEFA Champions League and FIFA to ban the creation of the Super League in 2021.
The court announced the decision that the two organizations do not have a monopoly on holding European club tournaments. Thus, the Super League can be officially formed in accordance with the law.
Let us recall that in April 2021, 12 European clubs announced the creation of the Super League. The project did not take place due to pressure from UEFA. A month later, the Super League accused UEFA and FIFA of violating competition law.
