The EU will send 18 billion euros to Kyiv in 2023

According to representatives of the Czech Republic in the EU Council, the ambassadors of European countries have agreed on the amount of financial assistance that Ukraine will receive next year. A minimum tax for large companies was also approved.
“Mega deal! The amount of financial assistance to Ukraine in the amount of €18 billion, a minimum tax for large corporations of 15% has been agreed. Hungary’s plan for recovery and resilience and an agreement on conditions have also been approved,” the diplomats noted.
Earlier it was reported that the European Commission developed a plan to provide economic assistance to Ukraine in the amount of €18 billion during 2023. As explained by its head Ursula von der Leyen, Kyiv will receive funding in regular tranches in the form of loans on favorable terms.
